I try and mind my own business
That seems to be the way I lean
With God here as my witness
Don't need no one bothering me

But who if not me will help those in need
If I see a need arise
And who's to reap if we don't dare dive deep
In the knowledge of all that's right

We may keep to ourselves doing little to help
Watching from the sideline
Knowing all too well it's not a big sell
When our time spent is to criticize

At times it's best the less that is said
In any given situation
Under wraps if it's kept from being fed
Adding trouble to the making

What keeps bothering me is all of the needs
To the point where I want to hide
Where all that I see is overwhelming
Just to find, it's a part of life
