I spoke and she took heed
She spoke and I felt need
Time twisted cruel and tight
It burned without respite

I lay in silent spin
The world just turned within
With rot beneath its seam
Far from the fight I dream
Maybe she and him went to the theaters not to watch a movie, but to watch my memories turn bitter in amusement.
