Don’t Ask Me
Don’t ask me about anything
I try and stay out of what’s happening
Do my best to keep to myself
Leave life’s problems on the dusty shelf
No, I don’t know what’s going on
Either here and now or good as gone
I haven’t got a single clue
With the thought of what or not to do
Don’t assume I have sound advice
Ask me once, I’ll tell you twice
I'm fresh out of new ideas
Who you trying to kid, kid
I rarely care for what's out there
With no clue of who or what they're doing here
I try not to get too involved
In the much to-do of what’s going on
If there's anything, don't ask me
There's not a thing on which I lean
I can tell you straight away
I could care less in the mess that's being made
