If aliens were to visit,
Would my mind feel sad?
Perhaps startled, or maybe just afraid.
Confused, panicked—I'm not really sure.
If aliens were to visit,
And they were to land right before me,
Would people believe me if I told them?
Maybe they'd just scratch their heads, maybe they'd just laugh at me.
If aliens were to visit,
On their spaceship I'd ask for a spot.
I'll bring my blanket, and my favorite book.
I'll also bring my cup, and my out-of-tune guitar.
Perhaps happiness is hidden on another star,
Because I can no longer endure this hidden pain.
I'll just go along if I'm taken to another planet,
Rather than the moment I see you happy with someone else.
