Lovely Little Liars
Lovely little liars
Sing your songs to Me
Tell me what I want to hear
Tell me who to be
Tell me that I'm perfect
And I'm beautiful and sweet
take away this bitterness
That people see in me
Teach me all your secret spells
That armour up the mind
Let me in your world of strength
And see what I can find
Lovely little liars
Show your polished teeth
Teach me how to smile through
This poisoned mask of grief
Teach me how to bottle up
The feelings I can't say
Teach me how to be so bright
I'll never fade to grey
Lovely little liars
Won't you use your words for good?
I bet it'd take your heart of steel
And soften it to wood
Won't you pass the torch to me
I'll set it all alight
The warmth you'll feel
The light you'll see
Will fill you with delight
.....
Lovely little liars
Won't you sing to me
Let me feel the weight of love
In your melodies
Let me feel your soul grow light
And See your eyes begin to glitter
As the life restores behind your face
Renewed,
You'll be a winner
