Before I destroyed myself
I would have liked to have met you.

Perhaps I’m only changing
into someone who can trust the in-between
     spaces,
who can always hear the beauty
in the silence.

But I worry
I’m more Void
than woman now
and I’ll consume your starlight
how the ocean loves the shore.

What they don’t tell you about dark matter, it’s always hungry.
