Lost religions
A floodlight
but up in old Lancashire
the old Lancastrian
would say a floodleet
which is quaint and rather
sweet.
remembering t'mill
and t'pigswill bins
for pig farm
which did nay harm but
left an awful stink.
and t'stone jetty known as
Tortoise Shell,
never knew why it was so
it were just somewhere to go
when bunking off school.
