Stealing my solitude with a kiss
To make me want what i know i can’t miss
Does that make you feel more whole?
You’re filling my mind with absence

Whispers of love with one foot out the door
The scattered sun shines in shattered rays across the floor
And this time I think, I wish I’d never felt any of this before
Because the night hides what the daylight is ready to show
And I’d rather forget what I already know
My willful ignorance of your desire to go
