Journey
He took me to the waters
In a simple wooden boat
My hand touching each ripple
A tightness around my throat
At first I was uncertain
Was it day, or was it night
As we floated on the water
Not a single soul in sight
As we travelled on the ocean
Towering mountains suddenly appeared
Like great sages bowing gently
His presence, utterly endeared
Then I saw the distant horizon
Lit in colours like a flame,
And I saw my own reflection
White hair flowing like a mane
And as the day was dawning,
All at once I realised—
That I saw my inner beauty
The love of the Divine ❤️
