Shreds whirl through the universe
Fears and love
I knew this place before
In the silver light of birth it shone

And angels screamed through the mouths of lions
Their cries flew over the steppe
Over hyenas and vultures
Children and elders
Villages and cities

New flower
In the face of the darkest hour
You descended in the flicker of warm lightning

New eyes
Somewhere they had been left behind
We soared in the face of thunder

To fulfill something
While in the valley the gardens of Eden
Smirked

There are no answers
Least of all to life
Only and solely do moments exist
Moments become instants
From them memories arise

I never abolished the screaming
It simply grew silent around me
So I rested
At home by the fields
Near the river

Yet the valleys remained ever fertile
Always evergreen
In winter even more so

Innocence did not die
Now is just another moment
Shaped from memories
Moments
