Life without her
My life is engraved,
all my hobbies laced with her;
a sea of thoughts rush.
A constant cascade,
a tidal wave of memories.
The salt hits the wounds.
Her words reverberate;
they bounce around my heart now...
they were once placed carefully.
They have broken free.
They rule over my good days
and make bad ones hard.
But after all this;
I do not regret a thing.
I am glad of it.
For to have lived that,
the luck of having her here,
and to have her love;
it is the greatest.
the huge privilege of her,
to feel her warmth once;
makes the hardest days
much more manageable for me,
and the dark nights bright.
With great love my dear,
thank you for it all Jamie.
You make me myself;
and shaped me for life
in a way no one else could.
I will miss you though.
I just hope you miss me sometimes.
This is a collection of haikuβs that I connected to tell a cohesive feeling
