Fragile and understanding
Just who everyone likes
Independent and opinionated
Is when the society strikes
Eager to show where she belongs
They comment unprovoked
No mind of hers, ideas stolen
Even in her thoughts she's choked
Fight for the basic becomes imminent
Mustering courage she defends
On sheer willpower she survives
Within a patriarchy promising absence of amends
On she dreams through her misery
In daylight and through nightfall
Trying her best to tell people
The world isn't fair for all!
She's desperate for change
Longs for freedom and respect
Revision of ideologies
Ways of life for all to accept
In such a society she wishes equality were a given
Wherein she'd be more proud than scared to be a woman
