A wandering heart
Anchored by time
We’re pulled apart
A divergence divine

Therein we do run
So quickly to fall
We answer to none
But never loom tall

Writing compels us
And a solace in song
Storms whisper thus
Birds thunder along

So adrift now we’ll be
So forever to roam
On an inky sea
In search of home.
