I tell myself I won't weep till she holds me
And it's true I won't
My Uncle Jack went to Purdue
But he sometimes says Purdon't

Heard the Purdue Glee Club once
Garrison Keillor's Prairie Home Companion
Ain't no altars on this my Road now
I practice a faith that's been long abandoned

But I do pray to the statue
Mother Mary and her Baby Boy
She knows now I still love her
She wished me abundant joy

Will I ever see her again?
The Wheel is still in spin
Cardinal Newman is right
You have to lose to win

           All Over Again
