Oct 2022
howling through the trees
running from a breeze
only it chases him faster
she's a natural disaster

kicking up dust
the earth, the core the crust
a break in the line
is how you feast/you dine

trampled by a smiling squall
laid flat on southern drawl
poking head into the funnel
cooked inside a short damp tunnel
