the rug
from under her feet
laid her flat
as a fitted sheet
and danced
over the body
on every beat

He Pulled
rose petals off
one by one
till the crimson bloom lay
scattered blood ashes
curled in the tray

He pulled
the stitching out
before the wound closed
then he ran as a run
in her pantyhose

He pulled
the plug
from her life-support
stole her breath
on every caress
till the last death
