Tears of Fire
"My drops of tears I will turn to sparks of fire !" William Shakespeare - Henry the VIII , act two , scene IV .
I'm
mixing alcohol . . .
with silver tears of fear
While ,
I'm looking back
on all the agony
of my years
Whose
demise . . .
is now drawing nye
I dream of being Pheonix
with . . .
red plumage and desire
to be
consumed
by the tears I have set on fire
So . . .
let me pour another drink
and
rake the coals of my bier
While waiting on the
flames to appear
So I can
set my teardrops
on fire
