You
knocked the wind
out of my sail
threw me over for her
like a humpback whale

You
were such a tease
colorful as the autumn leaves
I never touched bottom

You
were pointy
like the ears on Spock
turning like the ****
on a weathervane
weighing me down
a ball and chain

I
was marked
like branded cattle
till I was in the saddle
and turned it back on
You
