Poems
Sep 2021
Prematurely, unfortunately
The first of October again?
I said that last time it came,
October, best before end of
May, once opened, refrigerate
and use within thirty-one days.
jeez,
this will be like death row,
the
waiting for October to go,
heating on and
teetering on the edge of a drink
think I'll go to bed instead
with a cup of cocoa.
