now you see him
now you don't
he's a regular
jack in the box

his head pops up
then pops down
keeping tabs on him
is the hardest job around

the next time
I see him
I'll catch him on the toe
and I'll not let him go

he's secreting
himself in the box now
if he doesn't pop up
we'll be having a row
