I love the sunrise specially when it goes bright
But I adore the sunset because its a real sight
I stay here, speechless in front of this spectacle
Such a wonderful sunset made the miracle
A huge orange fantastic ball above the sea line
Made my spirit fly away like never was mine
Not a single breeze freezing the landscape of grass
Dancing and wiggling all around the holy place
And the sea that remains motionless waiting for me
Night owls wander last time before they reach their tree
I'm there sitting with my thoughts while legs bent
In deep sighs with mingled sorrow and content
My knees touching my chin to give it comfort
I deeply admire this unique moment after the effort
A tiny ebb of water on the beach comes and goes slowly
While the beach banged the drum playing the fife lowly
Erasing "love" while traced with the fingers of a loner
The only feeling makes a cry kid or a big moaner
Then erasing the hearts traced with a piece of a stoner
No hard feelings, no sorrows, no fear nor dark corner
Stars of day disappears surely towards his bed
I cursed them one time then I rode on ahead
This ball of fire gently plunging into the distant sea
The rising sun will have many expectations for me
But the beginnings are empty, I really do understand !
They are always there to give a meaning to the end
Such the sunrise and the sunset made their story
I made mine too soon then it ended in a hurry
I don't desire love, nor I do desire his faith
It always ends with abiding wrack and scathe
The red horizon of the sun that flees from me
It knows what fire I put off while aiming to thee
Beyond the pacific wave and blossoming palm tree
Rock the palm in her shadow, let her dance free
Then I will buy peace from my pains and sorrow
In an act looping in each sunset, each tomorrow !
