It's over now: I have become a river
Down the falls some dreams to deliver
In unknown stream on deadly waves
And a banner drooped along my staves
It will be a great adventure to the sea
What name that will be given to me
What joy, what hunger, what pain!
Being a river I'll be able to hold the rain
Tear after tear till the blood shed
Then a dream waggled to my head
Such primate I'm lonely he just said
In a painful imagery i'm really sad
My fate took away to the sea all the sorrows
That fill his nights and empty his tomorrows
From here we made a great league
The same dream sharing the same fatigue
Then pour out its pure flow to the river
Till meadows and sea seed, both quiver
Where we hardly can mark the way
But enjoy soft as music, light as spray
Neither the silence so peaceful as a dream
Nor the plants of the waters can swim
It is a blue sea where a green river sings
Clinging to grass rags while the salt stings
Where the sun, holds a proud mountain
There is a dream and a river in deadly drain
