I remember the times
that I was the only one
that you loved,
that whenever you needed
someone to talk to,
I would always pull up
to your crib
and listen to all
that you had to say.

I loved you unapologetically,
there was nothing
that could turn me
away from your escape,
your attractiveness ran deep
inside my existence,
took me beyond
where I was
to the greater parts of you,
everything expressed so pleasantly.

I could never get enough
of seeing you,
being with you
from sunup to sundown,
just hanging out,
loving your vibe,
the way you smiled,
the way your eyes
kept me trapped
in your hypnotic stare,
your statuesque masterpiece
that no one else
could compare to.
