The people remember
you. You stick in their head –
Some things you can
not forget, like the sound

of nails scraping up and
down on the black board, or
the first vinyl record you buy. But
the tattered remnants of

my desire make
me a liar. So, I’ll paint them
with glitter, hire a sitter
and go out dance!
