Poems
Nov 2020
river tears
I ask the river
to swallow me
but with this drought
it is in more pain
than me
it asks me for my help
asks me what have I done
to this world
says everything was fine
before me
I tear off my clothes
exposing myself to nature
I jump in and
sink a few feet
to the bottom
I start to cry
hoping every little bit
helps
