what he took
i sit here,
trying to refuel my passions
for the many things
he took away from me
i sit here
not embarrassed
of who i am
i sit here
sometimes questioning myself
because his voice at the back of my head
still judges me
for liking the things i do
i sit here
trying to regain the pieces of me
that had fallen all over the floor
i am almost there
i am almost full
with love, to me.
