my cat he got excited he chased a little mouse
all around the garden then into the house
he chased it round the kitchen running everywhere
all around the living room even up the stair

the little mouse was clever hid beneath the bed
cat he couldnt catch him he gave up instead
mouse he came back. down headed for the door
back in to the garden free again once more

the cat he was exhausted with his exercise
crawled in to his bed closed his little eyes
dreaming of the mouse that he had to chase
mouse he moved away and found a safer place
