i took a trip to dover to watch the bluebirds fly
all around the cliffs very white and high
flying all around singing songs of love
all around the cliffs in the sky above

my heart began to melt to there lullaby
such a lovely song it almost made me cry
with there bright blue feathers gleaming in the sun
flying all around having so much fun.

i wont forget that day the bluebirds sang to me
there lovely song of love with a lovely melody
i will go again to the dover shore
hear the bluebirds sing. there song of love once more.
