Forgive me! for loving you so deep
it has always been this way, first time
I gazed into your eyes I knew you would
be in my thoughts forever.

Forgive me! letting you go without a
word of how I felt about you, it was not
time for us when you had to leave to
defend your country so bravely.

I watched you when you left with a
heavy heart, I just let my thoughts
run wild as I watch my kiss fly
to you in the coolness of dawn's
early light.

This day at sunset I look at the colored
pink, purple, blue hues mix with love
kissing another day good-bye, thinking
of your sweetness, and how I loved you
so true.

Years have passed, sometimes I wonder when
I look at a brook running down a path I still
remember those words you said with eyes  gazing
at me! “If you ever see a brook remember me”
To this day when I see a brook, I remember him
his last name was Brook.

So grand life is when love touches you from
within only pleasant thoughts drift
silently while a song floats through your
mind you cannot escape thoughts of
your love that never knew you had
loved him so.

Forgive me! I shall never be sorry I let you
go, we would have never been any way, you
left way before your time over the clouds
so white.
