My dear
It’s become so clear
That you’re undaunted
Though I thought you wanted
The same thing I wanted
Forever more
And I was so sure
Our love would endure

I fear
One realizes
Life’s full of surprises
But the answer is clear
Not up in the air
You don’t really care
I’ve said it
Now there!

Reality
Can often be
A catastrophe
Depending you see
How it turns out
But here’s the key
There’s no mystery
Once you’ve spilled the tea

I fear
One realizes
Life’s full of surprises
But the answer is clear
Not up in the air
You don’t really care
I’ve said it
Now there!
