Like a Writhing Metaphor
on a crowded bus
i brushed by a
woman a step
forward from
stupid.
court-esy, common?
as music was ripped
from my ears.
i got disgusted enough
to leave it lying down
between notes.
now i have no
earphones, but i still
got music in my ears.
though i did think about
them laying on the bus'
aisle like a writhing
metaphor.
