this might is not mine to try...

if i go away, you keep coming

back.

homeward's a prolonged dream.

in your inimtable way--you look

at me ready to drop betrayal.

the life of stepping stones that

eye the wound of their opening

night.

the terrified halfway, the captive

shock.

it's all so circumstantial--and inconvenient.

don't let age become cautious...

but if a series of shrugs must...

let be known okay as a bleeder.
