Dec 2019
Music box
I wrote a letter to the younger me,
but could it find me?
it could not and I got a bill for the
return postage.
'I never said it was easy'
and I never said that either.
By the time this is all done
God's son will be on his
fourth reincarnation.
I'm dragging things out because
there's nowt else to do
and when you get old
you'll be dragging things out too,
sometimes it's like
Fraggle Rock
or Blackpool Rock
and sometimes
it's just
'the rock and roll of the tortured soul'
that gives me indigestion.
