You’ve been Planted
too long in the same
spot. Your roots are
stubborn. I can see you
are stuck in the shade of
what grew up around
you. You’d do better if
you were somewhere else,
where the conditions were
more favorable, the earth softer
the sun warmer, and the days
longer. Where you had plenty
of room to spread out to
grow into yourself
