they don’t like drama
but a lot of them are liars. If that were
true the soap operas would all be
cancelled.

People say
they don’t care what others think. But if that
were true, they wouldn’t get so upset
about comments left on the internet.

People say
they don’t make comparisons. Who
the **** are they kidding!? We all compare
ourselves to everybody else. That’s why
there’s so much unhappiness.

People say
the damnedest things. I, myself
included. No, it’s not an excuse for
being rude. It’s just us folks are hard to
figure. We’re all fractured and splintered.

People say
things they don’t mean. You can’t take
everyone on their word. And people
mean things they don’t say –
Ya, don’t say? Hell, I’ve given up
