You asked me to walk through,
like you needed my permission or my goodbye.

You asked me what I felt,
and I did not want to tell you a lie.

You asked me what I saw,
if the future was brighter than our past.

You asked me if I felt the same
and the truth was,
I have never stopped loving you.

If you wanted me to come with you,
I wish you would have asked me before I was watched you go.
