i saw a littlle butterfly as colorful as can be
flying round my garden beautiful was he
lots and lots of colors like a rainbow in the sky
i sat there and watched gently flutterby

mother natures child flying wild and free
flying in my garden as gentle as can be
showing of his colors beneath the summer sun
flying  all around having lots of fun

then he flew away waved and said goodbye
hi up in the sky he began to fly
i hope he will return visit me once more
show me all his colors like he did before
