Skin of Porcelain
A War child is taken
Eaten by the solitude of a wasted war
For what gain do they feel
For what land
For what sea
These wars that pain so many
Yet solve no peace
A war child hidden
Tears me hard
Dusted faces
Forever broken
Skin of porcelain
I see land from the full to the empty
Such vastness to spare
Yet fight as we do
Regardless no care
No worry of life
Gone
The child no more
After scenes not wanted
The madness of life
A life not started
The photo's
Made
The flash not blinding
Yet
Peace is simple
Peace is free
Peace is out there
Let the chains break free
Let the children see
Let them be
A child
