I’m sorry that I had to leave I had many demons inside of me My time here on earth was up I am not sure why... I’m sorry I caused you so much hurt All my pain has gone away Just know that I’m ok But I left you in the wrong way I left broken, but now that’s you Broken inside, speechless, and alone on eighth avenue A place we called home for many years now Loving and supportive neighbors that are all mourning somehow As the day, the nights go by, remember I’m always here, by your side I see the flowers piling upon my car I thank you for the love from afar I know your sad, let me dry your tears I’ll see you soon, I’ll wait and count the years I’m sorry again I had to leave Just know I love you and I’ll protect you while you grieve...
Found out my neighbors daughter, who just turned 21 in November, lost her battle of depression and took her life. I wrote this in the perspective of her talking to her family and friends.
