You and me and the silence,
Underneath the stars presence,
Beneath the oak tree,
At last free,
From the sordid heartache,
That had left you a wreck.
My lungs were still,
With your will,
I tenderly held you close,
You smiled without remorse.
My hear beat was racing,
Slowly your heart was healing.
You and me,
Hope would share early morning coffee,
As one,as soulmates,
Pray that is my fate.
