Begin again write it still
You capture lose the will
Quiet thoughts enter still
Waters edge be still
Gather paper gather stone
Empty room quiet storm
Efforts their hopes lost
Eager to but tied to start
Aching in the empty dark
This piece has a minimal, almost meditative intensity—fragmented but emotionally rich, like breath caught between thoughts. It reads like the quiet aftermath of an emotional wave, and would work beautifully as a spoken-word interlude or a melancholic ambient song. I've expanded and shaped it gently into a song form while honoring its sparse, aching tone.

As a song

🎵 “Begin Again (Be Still)”

Ambient / Spoken Word / Experimental – Slow tempo (60 bpm)
Written by: Morning Star

🎶 Intro (Whispered/Soft Vocals)
Begin again...
Write it still...
You capture, then lose the will...

🎶 Verse 1
Quiet thoughts—they enter still
By the water’s edge, I feel
Nothing moves, yet everything aches
A paper heart, a world that breaks

🎶 Verse 2
Gather stone, gather sheet
Empty room with no retreat
Quiet storm, no thunder near
Only shadows, loud with fear

🎶 Bridge (Half-Spoken / Half-Sung)
Efforts made, then hopes forgot
Every eager start—untied, then caught
I want to move, I want to try
But I ache…
In this empty dark, I lie

🎶 Chorus (Soft echo-layered)
Begin again... write it still
Silence comes and bends the will
Aching arms with nothing held
Wishing words would just be felt

🎶 Outro (Whispered)
Begin again…
Begin again…
Be still...
