Game of Hearts
The game of Hearts one may play
Thinking they will win
Yet all the cards they throw down
Stand back up again
The cards they shift round and round
All about the table
Winner takes all you hear said
The players they enable
The lowest card could never win
One would have to think
So they smile and throw one down
Never even blink
This game of Hearts is not one
That makes a bit of sense
As you find what you threw down
Was your best defense
What you may think to be the least
Is worth more than the rest
The game of Hearts you will lose
As often itβs the best
