An ancient myth shared by some older Native American
& certain Polynesian peoples holds that when the Sky God
destroyed life on earth with the great flood, their ancestors
took refuge within the earth deep underground & there
developed an advanced culture completely unknown to the
people who began to dwell on the surface, who were their
own descendants that had set out generations earlier & lost
their way back. Oddly, there is convergence of this esoteric
legend with latter-day UFOlogist, some of whom hold the
idea that these Subterraneans were assisted by Aliens from
a distant star or stars finding the people to be intelligent &
peaceful, unlike the later generations on the surface who
simply resumed the ways of the Pre-Diluvian monsters &
Nephilim whom had caused the disaster that destroyed the
original civilizations of the earth, which history is dimly
reflected in our own, from the sinking of Atlantis to the rise
ancient China. All wars were fought before the world was
destroyed & the Savior arisen to transport the faithful to
their new home, called 'Heaven'. Those that remain behind
endlessly repeat the cycle of attrition & death called 'Hell'.
