Faust is the protagonist of a classic
German legend based on the historical
Johann Georg Faust. The erudite & ever
curious Faust, highly successful yet
dissatisfied with his life is led to make
a pact with the Devil, thereby
exchanging his soul for unlimited
knowledge, worldly power and material
pleasures. Realizing what a great deal
he's got, Faust begins selling off shares
of his soul, still in league with the Devil,
who earns a percentage
on each transaction until most souls are
sold on the open market until the final
bust & the market bottoms out.
