Dec 2012
time splits
the sun again
thus sharpens
her eyes
when the
red tailed hawk
snatches her prey
we hear the whoosh
from her wings
on that glorious day
through the
thick blue sky
the snap and the crunch
that we hear from her
bone crushing claws
that give her
good reason to fly
