Your spreading lies
Like a thousand fireflies
Lighting up and soaring the dark sky
Seeing the fear in your eyes
Catching you by surprise
All we ask is “why”
Your spreading these lies
One
    Two
         Three
     Three
    Two
One
Spreading like wildfires is no fun
No, I don’t want to join in as one
I’ll just wait for the rising sun
When the fireflies go to sleep
I won’t admit my defeat
Stomping out the lies from under my feet
As you spread lies
Like a thousand fireflies
Lighting up and soaring the dark sky
I’ll continue to watch the lies
Glow from your eyes
I’ll stand up but won’t surrender
As the fireflies soar throughout the dark lit sky
For one day you’ll be caught
Your light will run out
All those lies
Will catch up to you
Like little children capturing you
In glass jars, you can’t go far
As your light dims out
Darkness will fall
But my light will never run out...
