My Ghost
Up until now
I have not thought thoroughly about you since last year
Four years ago, when I met your lovely soul, you built me up and I fell for your words that would forever stain my broken soul
My love, my love, my love: you are my whole world
Two years later, you left without a trace
My love, my love, my love: why did you leave me all alone?
One year after, I came to terms with the fact that your uplifting words had never been genuine; for, my first love had been nothing but a lie
My love, my love, my love: what a fool I was to believe you felt as I did
Six months after that, I barely thought of you and your lies that had once torn me inside out, and broke my already fractured spirits
My love, my love, my love: I do not love you any longer
Now, I am back to the one year mark; struggling to come to peace with your false truths, and I have not a clue why this is
My love, my love, my love:
You are no longer my world
I am not alone
I am no longer a fool
I will never love you again
You are not my love, you are my ghost
