That we'd all end up
Dressed like this

Here on this stage
In cap and gown
With tassels tossed
Frowns upside down

We'll say hello
To new found life
When to old friends
We say goodbye

And also to
The ways of youth
As time moves on
Without a clue

Beyond all this
In hope's and dreams
That life is blessed

Where some will lose

While others make
