to bewildered cheers;
cheerleaders                                               on the sidelines
cheering on the

   sweaty team                                                        the men playing catch        & riding
                                                          
their bicycles while the girls
doing high kicks &                                                                 ­  backward
flips in matching mini skirts
& go-go boots
go mostly                  ignored
&      largely                                                                   unpaid
