Fading Finger Memories
I'm starting to get the tan back
Where the ring used to be
Losing the reminder
But not the memory
I'm sure that too will makes it's move
To fall off my minds grid
But we two both know the truth
Who am I trying to kid
I might have forgotten your birthday
Or at times our dinner plans
And our anniversary often escaped me
As I blamed it all on being a man
But I do remember the good times
If I remember anything
Even as the tan line
Fades from my fingers memory
